Accessibility Statement

The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and the PA Evidence Resource Center (ERC) are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

We strive to comply with best practices and standards as defined by level Double-A (AA) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which explain how to make website content more accessible for people with all abilities.

The CCIU uses UserWay, an accessibility monitoring product, to monitor compliance to WCAG guidelines, and we continually seek solutions that will bring all areas of the website to the same level of web accessibility.

Accessibility Features

The ERC website includes a variety of accessibility features, such as:

  • Alternate text for images
  • Accurate descriptions for linked text
  • ADA compliant PDFs
  • Appropriate color contrast between text and background elements
  • Logical tabbing sequence for keyboard-driven navigation
